Valentine Roberson had at the market dock on yesterday a boat-load of Core Sound oysters, among which was one which measured eight inches in length. The Core Sounds are exceedingly fine this season. The extent of her dam ages are not yet known. Change of Schedule. On and after April 10th the freight train on the Midland Ry. will leave New Berne at 8.80 P. M. instead of 4.00 A. Mr. J. F. Mewborne has recently sold advantageously at Goldsboro, for differ ent Lenoir farmers, several lots of cot ton. This cotton was sold by sample, and shippec, via New Berne.
